Some critics of the genre have described the heroic image of police on TV with the term "copaganda." Reality shows such as COPS have already been cancelled in response to the protest movement. Bob's guest, well-known TV critic David Hinckley, feels that police and medical dramas are the "bedrock of television" and aren't going away. They may, however, undergo change.
